ABOUT BATH RECITALS

Established in 1981, Bath Recitals stages concerts in the World Heritage City featuring rising young musicians from around the world.

The charity’s aim continues to be to provide a platform for young professional musicians at the start of their careers – many of whom have risen successfully to the top of their professions.

From solo performers to chamber groups and orchestras, Bath Recitals has staged nearly 600 events with young professional musicians, many from leading conservatories both from this country and abroad.

Tom Clarke, the founder and artistic director of the charity – Bath Recitals Artists Trust – is now its president following on from Sir Peter Pears, Sir Charles Groves and Sir Charles Mackerras. The current artistic director is Daniel Robert Cushing.
