The Brandon Hill Chamber Orchestra will be joined by pianist Bobby Chen to perform one of Mozart’s most enchanting Piano Concertos – described by Alfred Brendel as ‘one of the Wonders of the World’.
Reviewed by The Independent and The Guardian, Malaysian born Bobby was described by International Piano Magazine as: ‘…an armour-clad player of complete technique, a thinking musician, a natural Romantic.’
The programme will also feature Haydn’s sixth symphony Le Matin, composed in 1761 shortly after joining the court of Prince Paul II Anton Esterházy who gave Haydn the challenge of composing a work on the theme of three different times of the day.
